METHOD

The drone is the camera crew. The report is the product.

Four steps, each with a defined output. The one that decides whether a claim survives is the last one.

  1. 01

    Fly

Licensed pilot, planned route, permits, insurance and a safety brief on every flight, including the routine ones.

  2. 02

    Sense

Radiometric thermal plus high-zoom visual, RTK-positioned to ±3 cm. Every frame carries its exact address and conditions.

  3. 03

    Analyse

Software proposes candidates from thousands of images. A qualified person verifies every single finding. Nothing is machine-decided.

  4. 04

    Report

Every fault with its exact position, severity and measurement conditions, written to be read by an engineer and defended in front of a warranty desk.

WHERE THE VALUE IS

An MRI machine has never cured anyone.

The radiologist's report does that. The scanner makes images; the value is a qualified person reading them and signing a document someone can act on.

Capable inspection drones are affordable to almost anyone now. Flying is the cheap part. AIM's work is the radiologist's seat: disciplined measurement, qualified verification, a report written to an international standard.

THE FAILURE MODE

Why cheap scans fail claims.

Warranty desks don't reject reports for ugly pictures. They reject them for missing fundamentals: Was irradiance sufficient? Was the camera calibrated? What's the exact ΔT, against which reference? Which panel, which row, which string?

A report that can't answer those questions is a set of pictures. Ours is built around them.

PLAIN LANGUAGE

The jargon, translated

Table 1 — Terms used on this site and in AIM reports.
TermWhat it actually means
Radiometric thermal cameraMeasures a temperature for every pixel, not just a warm-looking colour. Electrical faults glow long before anything is visibly broken.
RTK positioningSatellite positioning corrected to about 3 cm. The difference between "panel 214, row 12" and "somewhere in row 40".
IEC TS 62446-3The international methodology for thermographic PV inspection: valid conditions, camera requirements, fault classification.
Data subscriptionThe hosted platform where your reports, maps and multi-year fault history live in one place instead of an archive of PDFs.

EQUIPMENT

What do you fly?

Proven production aircraft, selected for the sensor and the mission. What you keep is not the flight; it's what we build on top of it: the measurement discipline, the verification workflow, the report engine and your site's data history.
